You get to organize all of your similar things together, and get rid of all the things you no longer need or use. For instance, all of your tools go in one area, your sports equipment in another, until everything you actually use is nicely stored and easily accessible. The best part is that most garage wall storage has doors so you can safely secure dangerous items like chainsaws and other lawn tools.

They are usually made from stainless steel or come powder coated for a nice durable finish. Some storage systems will have stackable, interlocking pieces to help secure them in place.

Overhead garage storage systems are really cool. They are attached to the ceiling of your garage and act similarly to a small attic area. This set-up is ideal for when you run out of space for wall storage, but still have a few items laying around. So big items like canoes, bikes, tents, ladders or whatever equipment you need to get out of the way can be perfectly stored from the garage ceiling. Your basic system is a metal frame rack that attaches to the rafters of the ceiling. You can also opt for shelving units for smaller items. A really cool feature of some systems is that they can be cranked up and down like an elevator from the ceiling when you need to access them. When you crank it back up, the rack locks securely in place.

Each style and model has its own storage capacity and you can also purchase any size unit to meet your storage needs. So whatever your needs are, there is a garage storage system out there for you.
